Hey, I’m Melanie!

I’ve spent the last 13+ years working in marketing across a bunch of different industries—finance, business services, recruiting—and before that, I was in customer service at a coffee shop, supper club, and a credit union. I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years, and each one taught me something new that I’m excited to bring here.

I’ve worked as a recruiter, which basically means I spend a lot of time learning people’s stories and connecting them with opportunities that fit. That same love for connection is what inspired me to start this blog.

I’ve been managing social media pages and creating content for over a decade, always looking for ways to build real, engaged communities. Now, I get to use those skills to share local finds, helpful resources, and a little bit of the beautiful chaos that is motherhood.

I grew up in Reedsburg and now live in Baraboo with my husband and our son. This area has always been home, and I love shining a spotlight on the places, people, and events that make it so special.
