E11371 North Reedsburg Rd Baraboo, WI (You’ll feel like you’re closer to the Dells but it’s a Baraboo address)

Fox Hill RV Resort and Campground offers various RV & tent options (including full hook-up sites) as well as cabin rental units. Home to Wisconsin Dells’ largest fishing pond, this resort offers unique attractions which include a casino shuttle, dog pond, and RC track.

Choose from three campgrounds offering seasonal and year-round sites:

Quartzite Campground 

This campground is mainly a grassy, open space. Many of the large recreational vehicles visiting will end up in this campground because of the spacious sites. Both electric and non-electrical sites are available.

Northern Lights Campground 

This campground has a variety of vegetation with both electric and non-electric sites. There are sites available for people with disabilities.

Ice Age Campground  

The Ice Age Campground only has non-electric sites. Two sections: Lower (which is partly wooded and partly grassy) and Upper (completely wooded).

All three campgrounds have restrooms and shower buildings as well as sites for people with disabilities. 

If you are vacationing with a group, Group Campsites are available on the South Shore and can accommodate up to 60 people, depending on the site.

Skillet Creek Campground is on 70 acres, nestled by the Baraboo Hills, and is one mile from Devil’s Lake. Tent sites, RV sites, and cabin rentals are available.

Mirror Lake State Park is known for its family-friendly atmosphere. The campground often organizes family-oriented activities, creating a welcoming environment for campers of all ages.

Practical Information:

Sandstone Ridge Campground

This campground has both electric and non-electric sites and is the only one that offers winter camping.

  • A site accessible for people with disabilities
  • 4 walk-in sites
  • Showers and both flush and pit toilets in season

Attractions:

  • Located near the boat landing, fishing pier, and beach

Cliffwood Campground

Cliffwood Campground is open May 1 to Oct. 31 and features double sites for parties that would like to camp next to each other. Double sites share a driveway.

Attractions:

  • Echo Rock Trail goes through the campground with access to a paved path that leads to a beautiful overlook and the Ishnala bridge 

Bluewater Bay Campground

This campground has non-electric sites and is open from approximately May 15 to Oct. 15.

  • The Kilbourn Trail connects the campground with the beach area.
  • Showers
  • Flush and pit toilets available in season

There are 7 tent-only, walk-in group sites available which hold up to 20 people per site. These sites are available April 1 through the first Sunday in November.
