When to Go

Strawberry season usually kicks off in early June and runs through July. Blueberries follow in early July to mid-August, and then come raspberries. Always double-check with the farm before heading out—weather and crop availability can shift things around.

What to Do With All Those Berries

Once you’re back home with your haul, here are some simple ideas for how to enjoy them and how to store extras for later.

Easy Recipe Ideas

Strawberry banana smoothies
Toss them into salads with goat cheese and balsamic
Yogurt + berry + granola parfaits
Strawberry salsa
Homemade jam or freezer jam

To Freeze Your Berries

Wash, hull, and dry them
Lay them on a baking sheet and freeze until solid
