Campers spend their days with their counselor and cabin mates enjoying classic camp experiences. Each morning includes two program areas like fishing, canoeing, arts & crafts, archery, swimming, outdoor skills, or music. Afternoons rotate between choice time, swimming, and cabin activities, and evenings bring campfires, cookouts, Capture-the-Flag, the Cassidy Games, and more.
Many campers attend with a friend (cabin mate requests are welcomed), but camp is known for being a friendly, welcoming place where it’s easy to make new connections. With trained counselors and a supportive environment, the Settler program offers a traditional camp experience filled with faith, friendship, and fun at Camp Gray.

As a Trailblazer camper, you’ll have all the options of the Settlers… and so much more! There’s a number of activities that are only available to Trailblazer campers and older. Take a spin on Camp’s mountain bikes or climb our climbing tower. Your counselors will be ready to listen and guide these campers though the challenges of being a teenager, and they’ll help you form great friendships with one another.
The Trailblazer program is also a traditional camp program with the added benefits of more program choices, later bedtimes, and more latitude in deciding what activities the cabin group should do. You’ll live in a cabin on main camp and participate in the traditional camp schedule. Come experience all the faith, friends, and fun found at Camp Gray!
Location: E10213 Shady Lane Road Reedsburg, WI 53959

Age: Grades 6-8
Pathfinders are the oldest campers that live on main camp for the week. They still participate in each of the awesome evening programs, but they no longer take part in the morning activity programs. Instead, Pathfinder campers participate in a number of special morning activities including: low-ropes course initiatives, a morning faith building retreat, and a camp service project. Because you’re still a part of main camp, you play an important role as role models for the younger campers. And of course, you’ll still do the typical fun camp activities like swimming, cabin time, and choice time, where you can choose canoeing, fishing, archery, biking, etc.
The goal of the Pathfinder program is to help campers discover and appreciate themselves as individuals and to create a welcoming environment in which each member of the Pathfinder community feels free to be the person God made them to be.

Explorers live a part from main camp in rustic cabins in a dedicated location known as Explorer Village. You’ll have loads of fun forming an unbelievably tight community!
The purpose of the Explorer program is to provide a safe and fun environment where the campers grow together as a community. The beauty of the Explorer program rests in its simplicity and tradition. You’ll have the chance to decide what you want to do as a community from day to day. This relaxed pace of Explorer Village gives rise to opportunities for one-on-one discussions, conflict resolution, and a sense of acceptance. There are also a good deal of programmed activities too, like a day trip to Devils Lake State Park, group initiatives in the village, tower climbing, and swimming in the pool that will occur throughout the week as well.
Additionally, Explorers cook much of their own food. You’ll also learn skills such as fire-building, outdoor cooking, and low impact camping. Explorer counselors are specially trained and have a passion for working with older adolescents. We invite you to take the challenge and pass through the arch to become an Explorer!
