Learn More About Our Sponsor

Tucked into the rolling hills of southwest Wisconsin, Oakwood Fruit Farm has been part of our family for over five generations—and we’d love for it to be part of your family’s fall traditions too. Every autumn, the orchard comes to life with the crisp air, bright colors, and the sweet scent of apples ripening on the trees. With over 180 acres and more than 20 apple varieties (plus some juicy grapes), there’s always something fresh waiting to be picked, tasted, or taken home.

Come by on a fall weekend and you’ll likely see three generations of the Louis family working side by side—stocking shelves, making donuts, and sharing stories with customers. And now, the fifth generation is starting to pitch in too, helping out in the retail shop. It’s truly a family-run orchard, and that’s something we’re proud of.

Of course, it wouldn’t be fall at Oakwood without a warm apple cider donut (or three). Folks come from miles around just for those! But don’t stop there—try our homemade caramel apples, turnovers, cookies, take-n-bake pies, and more. The retail shop is the heart of the farm during harvest season, and it’s packed with fall favorites. Bring the kids to pick out their Halloween pumpkins, or wander through our big selection of mums, mini pumpkins, gourds, and decorative corn to dress up your front porch.

We’ve also got some fun fall activities you won’t want to miss, like our “Pick Your Own Grapes” (starting mid-September) and our Customer Appreciation Days (this year, Oct 4th & 5th). And while you’re here, take some time to slow down. Soak in those brilliant fall colors, and capture your fall memories with beautiful photos. Whether you’re here for the apples or just the atmosphere, we’re glad to share a slice of the season with you.
